The app sends stations, dates, passenger counts and other search options to the uTickets server. The server requests data from RZD’s passenger service and returns trains, available places and routes. Searching does not require your name, passport or payment details. Station and route responses are temporarily held in server memory, normally for up to 5 and 15 minutes respectively.
The app saves your search draft and recent stations. Station suggestions are cached temporarily. You can clear this data in Settings.
To investigate errors and check availability, we keep records of individual operations: time, request type, outcome, duration, counts, server version and error codes. These records contain no selected stations, travel dates, IP addresses, headers or RZD response bodies. The app does not use accounts, advertising identifiers or advertising tracking.
Completed operation-log files on the server have a 14-day retention policy. Cleanup runs on a schedule, rather than exactly 14 days after each event. Selected local copies are cleaned up manually under the same policy; automatic cleanup of those copies is not yet working. Unfinished files and existing backups may remain longer. Other service logs are size-limited, with no single retention period.
The server processes your device’s network address to send a response and temporarily limit excessive requests. Network addresses may appear in separate system security logs and hosting infrastructure. The 14-day policy above does not apply to those records.
Tickets are purchased separately through a service you choose. Version 26.9 has no embedded RZD website, purchase link, passenger forms or payment forms.
The website does not set cookies. It has no advertising, analytics scripts, third-party fonts or forms. To check availability, its access log stores response status, duration and size, without page URLs, IP addresses or headers. That log has a 7-day rotation policy and size limits. This is not a general deletion deadline for system records.
Messages to support@utickets.fyi are forwarded through Porkbun to our support mailbox. The forwarding service and email provider handle delivery and storage. We use your sender address and message to respond to your request. Support does not need identity documents, passwords or card details.
Email support@utickets.fyi with your question. There is no need to attach identity documents, passwords or card details. Technical records have no persistent user identifier, so associating all records with a particular person may not be possible. Clearing data in Settings removes it from your device, not from server records.
